Operation Officer

Betty Mulugeta serves as the Operation Officer for EACOC. She is a public health professional with over 10 years of experience managing global health programs, particularly in the fields of public health workforce development programs in resource-limited areas.
She also holds leadership positions at the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the American Head & Neck Society (AHNS). Betty Mulugeta holds a Master of Project Management (MPM) degree from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Development from Middlesex University in London, UK.

Aida Solomon

Communication Officer

Aida B. Solomon is a passionate storyteller with deep roots in the Ethiopian diaspora community and a professional background in event planning, strategy, and marketing.
Aida is the co-founder of Art in Addis, a social enterprise that aims to make art accessible to all communities in Ethiopia. Furthermore, she is also the co-founder of Integrate Africa, a strategic communications firm which she is currently running wither her partner based in Los Angeles and Addis Ababa.
Aida Solomon received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California Irvine in Film and Media Studies and holds a Masters in Communication Management from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California.

The Ethiopian-American Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that protects, fosters, and enhances the success of Ethiopian-American businesses through a focus and collaborative effort.
Founded in 2003, the Ethiopian-American Chamber of Commerce primarily focuses on Ethiopian businesses in the greater Los Angeles area to build and uplift the community. EACOC provides advocacy, training, and networking services to help business people begin, run, and mature their businesses and companies.
